ABOUT US:
Puzzled & Dazzled is an upcoming, creative, daring collective in the Oranjestad theatrescene on Aruba. In December 2022 we started up our collective and in April 2023 started rehearsing. In November 2023 we performed our community theater play:
"WHAT MY WORLD NEEDS NOW" Our 7 players performed 3 shows; one for students, one for elderly people and one for the big crowd.
Our collective is created & lead by directors/producers Anita Hugen & Bastiaansz. Z who train amateur players in all disciplines of theater making while creating a play. Our plays are based on original scripts, deal with current topics and themes in our "ONE HAPPY ISLAND" - community and aim to make our audience participate in the play. We are not afraid to experiment and look for original sidesteps and surprising elements in our plays.
We started out with 6 players to perform our first play, One player is moving back to Holland, one had urgent work matters, so currently we are recruiting players for our new play QUINTESSENCE we still need YOU if you 're Aruba based, into theater and eager to learn more And if you are a DJ.
